Wash Care Instructions

This item has been hand knitted and assembled using recycled yarns of mixed fiber composition, and filled with polyester wadding. It can be hand washed using a mild detergent, and gently squeezed of excess water before drying flat on a towel. Do not spin.

Our quirky and charming animal toys are all hand knitted by a ladies group in the post conflict Mullaitivu area in the north east of Sri Lanka, where Urban Island have undertaken a training scheme to introduce new skills within the local community. Every purchase you make helps to support and further empower the women artisans of the region.
